Description

Two K6 telephone kiosks were built in 1935 and are located flanking the right entrance of the Head Post Office in Kingston upon Hull. These kiosks are made of cast iron and were designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, with construction by various contractors. Each kiosk features a square shape with a shallow domed roof and illuminated panels on each side, along with margin glazing on the sides and door.
