Description

Fox Farmhouse is a late 18th-century house located on the south side of High Street, Barby-on-the-Marsh. The building is constructed of brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a Welsh slate roof. It features a central-hallway entry and a cross wing to the rear. The farmhouse is two storeys high and comprises three bays. It has a six-fielded-panel door topped with an overlight. All windows are 4-pane sashes. The windows are surrounded by red brick dressings and have colour-washed flat brick arches. A colour-washed three-course band runs along the first floor. The eaves are defined by a coved red brick course. The gables have shaped kneelers and end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
