Description

Derwent View is a house, now divided into two houses, dating from the mid-18th century with later additions and alterations, including a range at the rear. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick and has a pantile roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with three bays. The central entrance features a six-fielded panel door set within a pilastered doorcase, which has decorative brackets supporting a hood. The windows are four-pane sashes with painted wedge lintels, and there is a first-floor band and a cogged eaves band. The building has end stacks.
