Description
East End Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brown brick in English garden wall bond, with red brick dressings and quoins, topped by a pantile roof. Originally designed as a three-cell lobby entry, the entrance has now been moved to the rear. The building has two storeys and four bays. There is a 20th-century plate-glass casement window in the position of the former door to the second bay, while the other windows are sashes with glazing bars, except for a blind window in the second bay on the first floor. All openings feature red brick quoins, and there is a three-course band at the first floor level, along with a stepped eaves course. The left gable end is raised and has recent concrete coping, with stacks at the left end and ridge. The interior has not been inspected.
