Description

Stud Farmhouse is a building that dates back to 1771, now divided into two dwellings. It features later additions and alterations, including 20th-century end ranges that are not of special interest. The farmhouse is constructed from whitewashed pinkish-red brick and has pantile roofs. The main block is two storeys high and consists of two bays, with recessed lower two-storey, single-bay wings on either side.

The entrance is located in a central porch, which has a board door with a divided overlight. The ground floor includes 20th-century casement windows, except for one three-light Yorkshire sash window to the right of the door. All windows, apart from the one in the left wing, are set in their original openings with cambered heads. On the first floor, there is a 12-pane, two-light Yorkshire sash window in the left wing, along with two 18-pane, three-light Yorkshire sashes in the main block. The building features a stepped eaves band and end stacks, with tumbled-in brickwork visible on the gable ends.
