Oak Wood Farmhouse

Oak Wood Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1764, as indicated by the datestone, with a 19th-century bay added to the right and later modifications. The building is constructed of colour-washed brick and features a pantile roof. It has two storeys and three bays, with an outshut at the rear. The entrance is now located at the gable end, accessed through a late 20th-century glazed door. The original entrance, which is now blocked, was situated between the first and second bays and had a cambered head. The ground floor includes four-pane sash windows with cambered heads, while the first floor features six-pane sash windows. Stone sills are present throughout the building, which also has gable end and ridge stacks.
