Description
The Angel Hotel, located at 15 Butcher Row in Beverley, is a building likely dating from the early 19th century. It stands three storeys tall and is finished in stucco, with a tile roof that has slate on the front. The eaves feature widely spaced plain brackets. The façade includes three windows that have moulded cases and hung sashes with glazing bars, along with a cill band at the first floor. The ground floor showcases horizontal rustication and a Doric doorcase adorned with pilasters and an entablature. The building has rounded corners at the ground floor and a two-window return. At the rear, there are two-storey wings that include former stables.
