Description

Lelley War Memorial is situated on the roadside of Main Street in Lelley. The memorial features a brick-built angled supporting wall with two inset marble plaques and a timber bench running between them. The left plaque honors those who fell in the First World War, stating: "LELLEY/ ROLL OF HONOUR/ FOR THOSE WHO SERVED IN THE GREAT WAR OF/ 1914-1919/ (NAMES)." The right plaque commemorates the fallen of the Second World War, reading: "LELLEY/ ROLL OF HONOUR/ FOR THOSE WHO SERVED/ IN THE 1939-1945 WAR (NAMES)."
