Description

The Rise is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of brown brick with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features three bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door topped by a fanlight with radial glazing, set within panelled reveals and a pilastered door-case that is adorned with a dentilled pediment. The windows on the ground floor are 16-pane sashes with sills, positioned beneath channelled wedge lintels that have raised keyblocks. The first floor also has three similar windows. The house has end stacks and a hipped roof.
