Description

KEYINGHAM OTTRINGHAM ROAD TA 22 NE (north side) 3/23 Windmill tower at Mill Nurseries - II

Windmill tower, now part of house. c1828; alterations of 1980 included re- roofing and re-flooring. Brick, colour-washed; plain tile roof. Tapered round tower of 5 storeys. Segmental-headed doorways and windows with C20 doors and glazing. Low pitched hexagonal roof. Interior largely refitted. C20 porch and additions to rear are of no special interest.
