Description

This is an 18th-century building of two storeys, located on the east side of Wellington Road. The exterior is rendered, and it has a Welsh slate roof with two dormers and brackets along the eaves. The front has two windows on the upper floor and one window on the ground floor. The ground-floor window is distinguished by painted voussoirs. A pilastered doorway is topped by a cornice, and the door itself consists of six fielded panels. The interior of the doorway has panelled soffits and reveals, and there is a semi-circular fanlight above the door. A foot scraper is also present. The building is part of a group with numbers 6 to 12 on the same side of the road, and number 6 is noted for local interest.
