Description

9 Queen Street is a 18th-century building featuring a modillion eaves cornice. It stands three storeys tall, with a rendered exterior and a Welsh slate roof that includes one gabled dormer. The top floor has two windows with hung sashes and glazing bars. On the first floor, there is a canted bay with a leaded roof. The left side of the building has rusticated quoins. The ground floor features a modern shop front, along with elements from the late 19th century, and there is a passage entry to the left. This building is part of a group with No 8 and the premises occupied by the Co-operative Society, which are of local interest.
