Description

  1. 5268 SEWERBY ROAD (North Side) Sewerby Sewerby Grange TA 1968 16/285 II 2. Mid C19 Gothic. Architect said to be Scott. Yellow brick with ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys and attics. Moulded string between ground and 1st floor. 2 gables of 2 storeys, 1 arched window to attics. 1st floor has 1 window of 2 trefoil-headed lancets in arched frame. Centre window of 2 similar lancet lights, rectangular frame. Ground floor has canted stone bay with 4 similar lights and segmental window with cusped lights. 1 window of 2 cusped lights to right. Formerly the Vicarage.
