Description
Brownsover Hall is a mid-19th century building designed in a Gothic style by Sir George Gilbert Scott. It is constructed from red brick with stone dressings and features blue brick patterns. The roof is gabled and covered with Welsh slate, including five gabled dormers. The entrance front has a balanced design with six windows and consists of two storeys plus attics. There is a one-window projection on the left and a tall tower on the right, which has a porch beneath an oriel window and a pierced parapet leading to a tall French roof. To the right of the tower is a stair turret topped with a stone spirelet. The ground floor has Gothic cross windows, while the first floor features rectangular cross windows. Inside, there is a galleried arcaded staircase hall.
