Description

No 8 is a house that has been converted into an office and flat, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of brown brick in Flemish bond, featuring red brick quoins and window jambs, topped with a pantile roof. The building has three storeys and two bays. The 19th-century shop front includes a central door and a frieze supported by carved consoles. The first and second floors have plate-glass sash windows set beneath painted flat brick arches, and there is a three-course band at the second floor. The chimney stacks have been removed. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to have been modernised.
