Description
14 Westgate is a 18th-century building featuring two storeys constructed of brick and rendered with a pantile roof that has a central rendered chimney stack. The building has an eaves cornice and vermiculated rusticated quoins on the right side. There are two hung sash windows with glazing bars in wooden cases on the upper floor, and two ground floor windows that have vermiculated keystones above their cornice lintels. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels and is located beneath a blocked rectangular fanlight, with a plain passage door to the left. This building, along with Nos 16, 20, and 22, forms a group with Nos 8 and 10, which are of local interest.
