Description

No. 2 Neston Road is a house built in 1893 by Douglas and Fordham. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The ground floor has a brick cornice, while the first floor is topped with a stone cornice. The gable is shaped with stone coping, flush bands, and finials. The windows have elliptical heads with hood moulds and plastered tympana, and consist of 2-light small-paned casements. A keyed roundel is located in the gable. The entrance features a flat bracketed canopy above a four-panel door with two segmental-headed lights. The right side of the building has a ground floor window and a cross-axial stack that adjoins No. 1.
