Description
17 Brandon Street is a house, now used as offices, dating from around 1825, with possible alterations to its front in the later 19th century. The building features a brick front elevation in Flemish bond and an English garden wall bond on the elevation facing Gertrude Street. It has a Welsh slate roof and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. All windows have flat arched brick heads, with glazing bars present only in the upper sash. The central door, dating from the 20th century, includes a rectangular overlight. Additionally, 20th-century windows have been inserted into what was formerly a carriage house on the side elevation.
