Description

The former mews, dating from around 1840, is part of a mews range associated with Nos. 56-63 Hamilton Square in Birkenhead. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and features double doors on each side of a single-width door, which is partly blocked and has been converted into a window. The upper windows are framed by heavy stone jambs, and there are stone stacks at the end walls.
