Description

This is an end-of-terrace house, built around 1826-30 as part of a larger terraced row in Crosby. The house is constructed of painted stucco with a shallow hipped slate roof and a rendered chimney on its right side. It has a double-depth, single-fronted plan with a rear extension.

The façade has two windows on each floor. A simple verandah with five narrow bays, wooden posts, angle-strutting, and a felted roof, protects two French windows at ground floor level. The first floor windows have shouldered architraves and 20th-century glazing. The house adjoins number 31 to the right. An entrance is located in the return wall on the left side.

The interior has not been inspected. The house is part of a group of listed buildings that includes those in Adelaide Terrace, Bath Street, Beach Lawn, and Marine Terrace, and together they form a significant feature within the Waterloo Conservation Area of Crosby.
