Description

This building in Mill Square, Aintree, comprises two farm buildings converted into a house, dating to the 18th century. It is constructed of brick with a stone slate roof. The building is three storeys high and has an irregular arrangement of windows, with evidence of blocked openings. A cogged frieze is present above the ground floor. Windows now have 20th-century casements, and there are two end stacks and one cross-axial stack. The rear elevation, originally the front, features two bays for each house, each containing a central entrance.
