Description

This is a house dating to 1828, marked by a rainwater head bearing that date. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The house is two storeys high with a basement and comprises three bays, a curved corner bay, and two bays facing Towerlands Street. A sill band runs along the first floor, and there is a top cornice. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows, lacking glazing bars. The central entrance is round-headed, featuring a doorcase with triple columns. A round-headed entrance to Towerlands Street is topped with a nine-pane fanlight. Plain iron railings enclose the area and steps.
