Description

Adelaide House is a house built in the 1830s. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features a 20th-century tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a basement, with three bays. To the left, there is a 20th-century three-bay extension. The house has a plinth, a first-floor sill, a band, a cornice, and a blocking course. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance is round-headed and has a Doric doorcase, although the columns were missing as of 1984. The entrance also includes a complete fanlight and an eight-panel door, with three-sided steps leading up to it.
