Description

This house, likely dating from the 1840s, is constructed of brick with stone dressings and a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The eaves are boxed. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows with glazing bars. The central first-floor window features a consoled cornice with a segmental top. The entrance is framed by an architrave and consoled cornice, and has a complete overlight. A wooden verandah is attached. The left side of the building, visible from the street, has two bays beneath a gable featuring a cornice and bargeboards, and includes blind windows with segmental tops. An attached screen wall is made of stone. The central entrance is flanked by panelled pilasters with gabled finials and a gable between, with round-headed recesses and angle pilasters, and end piers.
