Description
This is a house located at 19 Hadassah Grove, likely built in the 1840s. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and features three by two bays. It has boxed eaves and decorative bargeboards. The windows are fitted with wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars, although the central first-floor window is more elaborate, featuring an architrave, frieze, and cornice. The entrance is round-headed and has a Doric door case with a six-panel door. On the right side, facing the street, there are two bays with blind windows that have wedge lintels and segmental tops. There is an attached stone screen wall that includes a central entrance flanked by panelled pilasters with gabled finials, and a gable above, which is flanked by round-headed recesses with angle pilasters and piers.
