Description
The Albert Public House is a public house built in the 1870s, featuring a stucco exterior and a hipped slate roof. It has five bays facing Lark Lane, a canted corner bay, and four bays along Pelham Grove. The ground floor is adorned with a cornice and has segmental-headed windows with cable mouldings. There is a small entrance in the second bay and a larger entrance in the fourth bay, both featuring a Composite door case. The first floor windows have segmental pointed heads with a continuous label mould, and the central canted oriel window has a diapered frieze above it. The attic includes gabled dormers with pointed windows and hood moulds. The canted bay features an entrance with a diapered panel above it, and the gable displays a chimney and the inscription "THE ALBERT." The Pelham Grove facade has a canted gabled bay and a two-storey canted bay window with a hipped roof and finial. There are four gate piers with iron lamp standards, although the lamps are missing, connected by a dwarf wall on the Pelham Grove side.
