Description
No. 63 Lark Lane is a restaurant built in the 1890s, featuring a combination of brick and timber framing with a tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays. The gable extends over the entire facade, showcasing a jettied center that projects over the middle bay. The ground floor includes a window, which may have been altered, flanked by bay entrances that are sheltered by lean-to porches supported by arch braces. On the first floor, there are two sets of three-light casements, with the central window featuring a clock above it, which cuts into the coving of the jettied attic. The attic has a two-light casement with small upper lights. Both the first floor and attic are timbered, and the attic and gables of the first floor display stencilled decoration. The building is finished with plain bargeboards and a spike finial.
