Description

This is an office building from the 1880s, constructed of white brick with sandstone dressings and a tiled roof. It consists of two blocks connected by a single-storey bay. The western block has five storeys and three bays, while the eastern block has three storeys, an attic, and four bays. The design is plain but includes some Classical details, featuring sashed windows without glazing bars. The inner bays of each block are designed as three-light corner canted windows, and the eastern block has arched windows on the top storey, which culminates in a small spire. The ground floor bays are all glazed as canted bay windows, likely original to the building. This structure is listed for its group value only.
