Description

Buckleys Buildings is an office building constructed in 1880. It is made of brick with stone dressings and stands six storeys tall, featuring eight bays. The ground floor includes shops with a central entrance that has a four-centred arch and a dentilled cornice. The windows are rectangular and set within moulded architraves. There is a cornice above the second floor, and the third floor windows are topped with pediments. The building has a canted corner facing Stanley Street and a 20th-century roof with attics.
