Description

This is a house dating from the 1830s. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings, and has a hipped slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. A sill band runs across the first floor. The eaves are deep and bracketed. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows, with glazing bars on the first floor. The left return side of the building features a two-storey gabled porch which is covered in ivy. The right-hand end of the facade curves forward to connect with numbers 52 and 54. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the wider group value of the street.
