Description
New Hall, located on Longmoor Lane, is a house that is part of a cottage homes complex built between 1887 and 1889 by Charles Lancaster. The building is constructed of common brick with red brick and stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features three bays, with the first bay projecting under a timbered gable. The extruded corner is covered by a hipped roof. The windows, which are sashed, have brick quoins, and the third bay includes a rectangular bay window with a 20th-century casement and a hipped roof. The entrance features a six-panel door with an overlight and lintel, while the extruded corner has paired windows.
