Description
West Lodge is a lodge for Everton Cemetery, built in 1879. It is constructed from rock-faced stone with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof. The building has an L-plan shape with an extruded corner under a hipped roof and stands two storeys tall. It has a weathered base and a flush sill band at the first floor. The windows consist of two and three ogee-headed lights with label moulds. There is a rectangular bay that has three pointed lights and a lean-to stone roof. A canted bay with a hipped slate roof is present, featuring a triangular, cusped attic light. Additionally, a projection on the return has a quatrefoil plaque, and there are clustered diamond stacks.
