Description
No. 304 is a lodge built around 1862 for Anfield Cemetery, designed by Lucy and Littler. The building is constructed of snecked stone and features a banded slate roof. It has one storey with an attic and is composed of two bays on each side. The windows are designed with two and three pointed arched lights, each having transoms and a drip mould above. A central gabled porch includes a pointed arched entrance, with a two-light dormer positioned above it. The side returns have first-floor two-light windows that showcase plate tracery. At the rear, there is a lower and shorter parallel range, and the building is topped with two stone stacks.
