Description
No. 302 is the lodge to Anfield Cemetery, built in 1862 by architects Lucy and Littler. It is constructed of snecked stone and features a slate roof. The building is one storey high with an attic and has an L-shaped plan with a porch at the angle. The windows consist of two and three segmental-pointed lights. To the right of the entrance, there is a canted bay window, and above it, a window displays the city arms. The porch features a gableted segmental pointed entrance with the word 'SEXTON' inscribed on a banderole above. There are two stone stacks, one positioned cross-axially and the other laterally on the right return, both with weatherings and clustered flues set diagonally. A six-pointed star is located on the gablet at the front.
