Description

Roby Cross is a stone structure located approximately 30 meters west of the Station Road junction in Huyton-with-Roby. It consists of a square base and the stump of a cross. A plaque on the cross notes that it was moved to this location from its original site at the corner of Carr Lane in 1979. The cross is possibly medieval and may be associated with a market, as a charter was granted in 1304.
