Description
Stirzaker's Cottage is a house from the late 17th century that has been altered. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features a corrugated iron roof over thatch. The building has an end baffle-entry plan and is one storey high with an attic. There are two modern ground-floor windows with plain reveals, and above them is a timber dormer. To the left, there is a modern gabled stone porch, and a chimney is located on the left-hand gable. Inside, the left-hand room includes two chamfered axial main joists and a firehood bressumer with a heck post, all of which are chamfered and stopped.
