Description
The wall surrounding the north, east, and south sides of the playground of Chaucer County Junior School is an early 20th-century structure that is an integral part of the school's design. It is constructed of red brick and features terracotta coping that ramps upwards and down again at regular intervals. The wall includes various pairs of gatepiers adorned with elaborate terracotta finials, which consist of two pairs of consoles on each side topped with a ball.
