Description
Hindley Head is a house dating from the early to late 18th century. It features squared watershot rubble on the left side of the porch and slobbered rubble on the right. The roof is made of stone slate. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows in the first and second bays are likely from the late 18th century, with plain stone surrounds and square mullions; the first bay has two-light windows, while the second bay has three-light windows. The right-hand bay contains early 18th-century windows that are rebated and chamfered with splayed mullions, also featuring three lights. Between the second and third bays is an outshut porch with a door that has a plain stone surround. There is a chimney located to the right of the porch and on the right-hand gable.
