Description
The Dog and Partridge Public House is a public house, likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from squared watershot sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and is arranged in four bays. The windows have plain stone surrounds, with bays two, three, and four containing two-light windows that also have plain stone surrounds and square mullions. The left-hand bay features a window with a plain stone surround, along with a similar window in cement above it. To the left, there is a door with a plain stone surround. A modern porch is located between bays two and three. Attached to the wall between bays one and two is a mounting block with four stone steps and a flagged top. The gables are topped with copings, and there are chimneys on the right-hand gable, positioned between bays one and two, and between bays three and four.
