This is a house and shop, dating from 1823, as indicated by a plaque on the first floor. The building is constructed of squared coursed sandstone with a slate roof. It has two storeys and two bays. The windows have plain stone surrounds and are sash windows with glazing bars, except for the wide shop window on the ground floor to the right. The front door has a plain stone surround and six panels, with the upper four being raised and fielded with re-entrant corners. A chimney is located at the left-hand end of the building.
