Description

Fields Farmhouse is a house from the late 18th century. It is built of pebbledashed rubble and features a steep slate roof. The building has a double-pile plan with end stacks and stands two storeys high with two bays. The windows are framed with architraves and have later small sash windows. The front door is surrounded by a plain stone frame and is sheltered by a stone porch that has fluted Doric pilasters and a moulded pediment. Inside the pediment, there is a worn inscription of the date '17-5'.

Inside, the left-hand room includes a moulded shouldered fireplace with raised and fielded panels on the lintel. The internal doors also feature raised and fielded panels.
