Description

This is a pair of gatepiers located on the drive, approximately 30 metres north of Town Head. They date from the early 18th century and are constructed from sandstone ashlar. Each gatepier has a square plan and features Tuscan pilasters on the north and south sides, topped with a cyma cornice. Each gatepier is finished with an acorn finial that is bisected by an abacus.
