Description
Bulcock's Farmhouse is a house built in 1693. It has a pebbledashed exterior and a slate roof, and it stands two storeys tall. The north-east wall, which faces the village street, features a later lean-to that covers most of the ground floor. To the right of this lean-to is a window with a chamfered stone surround. Further right is a window that was originally a doorway, which has moulded jambs and a shaped lintel. Above this doorway, there is a hood that encloses a plaque inscribed 'IIT 1693'. On the first floor to the left, there is a sashed window with glazing bars and a plain stone surround. Additionally, there are two mullioned windows, with two and three lights, that have rendered chamfered surrounds. The gables of the house have chimneys and copings with kneelers. The rear wall has one window with a plain stone surround, along with others that have plain reveals. The interior was not accessible during the survey, but it may contain features of interest.
