Description

This is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of sandstone ashlar with a slate roof. It is a double-pile building, meaning it has two rows of rooms, with gable chimneys. The symmetrical design features two storeys and three bays, accented by outer pilaster strips, a string course, and a bracketed cornice. Sashed windows are set within plain ashlar reveals, with the exception of the central first-floor window, which has an architrave. The doorway is distinguished by Tuscan pilasters, a broken fluted entablature, a semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars, and an open pediment. The gable ends are finished with copings and kneelers.
