Description
Stork House is a house built in 1840, constructed from squared sandstone and topped with a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features a north-west gable wall that faces down the village street, consisting of one bay. The windows are tripartite, with chamfered stone surrounds, splayed mullions, and hoods. To the right of the windows, there is a door that also has a chamfered stone surround with a hood. Under the apex of the gable, there is a plaque with an ogee hood, inscribed with 'LGNS 1840'. The house has two chimneys on the ridge and one on the left-hand return wall. On the left-hand return wall, there is a window on each floor with a plain stone surround, along with a door with a similar surround to their right. The building is listed for its group value only.
