Description

Schofield Farmhouse is a house from the mid 19th century, built of punched sandstone ashlar and topped with a slate roof. It features a double-pile plan with a central doorway and gable chimneys. The building has two storeys and three bays. The windows are framed with chamfered stone surrounds that include an inner hollow chamfer, an outer chamfer, and hoods. All windows have a central mullion, except for the central window on the first floor, which is a single light. The windows are sashed and include glazing bars. The door is also framed with a chamfered stone surround that has a triangular head and a hood above it. A moulded stone gutter adds to the architectural detail.
