Description
The farm building at Fair Oak Farm, located 400 meters north-west of Fair Oak farmhouse, is a 17th-century structure that may have originally been a stable. It is constructed of slobbered rubble and features a slate roof, rising to two storeys. The south wall showcases four chamfered doorways with triangular heads, alongside a door with plain reveals at the far left. On the first floor, there is a three-light chamfered mullioned window, with a smaller blocked window to its left. The eastern gable contains a three-light chamfered mullioned window on each floor. Below a round chamfered owl hole, there is a plaque that reads: 'John Parkinson Dorothy his wife and Thomas his son 1716'. The north wall features a chamfered doorway with a triangular head at the left-hand end, which has been blocked to create a window. To the right, there are mid-19th century extensions that form a barn and shippons.
