Description
Sunnyside is a house and two cottages built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from squared watershot sandstone and topped with a slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and features projecting quoins. The main house, No. 2, has three bays, end stacks, and sash windows with plain stone surrounds. The central first-floor window has a semi-circular head with projecting imposts and a keystone. The doorway is flanked by Tuscan pilasters and topped with an ogee pediment.
No. 1, located to the left, consists of one bay with sash windows that have plain stone surrounds. There is a door with a plain stone surround to the right and a chimney to the left. No. 3, situated to the right beyond a keyed joint, is deeper and has a taller roof with the same pitch as the others. It features one bay with 6-pane sashes in plain stone surrounds. The door on the left has a plain stone surround, and the right-hand gable includes a chimney.
