Description

This is a house, likely dating from around 1700. It is built of sandstone rubble and has a modern tile roof. The house is two storeys high. The south wall features chamfered mullioned windows. To the left of the front door are two lights of a former three-light window, with a chamfered surround. To the right of the door is a section of chamfered stonework with one central mullion remaining. On the first floor, a surround for a former three-light window remains to the left. Towards the centre of the south wall, a former four-light window has been blocked up. To the right, a former three-light window survives, with one mullion still in place, and the left-hand light containing small diamond-leaded panes. The front door is set within a plain stone surround. The north wall, which faces The Dene, has window openings with plain reveals. Brick caps are present on the end chimney stacks.
