Description

The Mausoleum is a structure built just after 1825. Its facade is made of punched sandstone ashlar and features two Ionic columns in antis, topped with a pediment. Above the entrance, there is a gabled wooden louvre. The inner doorway is framed with an architrave that has a cornice, and the inscription 'Blessed are the Dead who Die in the Lord' is incised on the lintel. The door itself is panelled with wooden studs and includes a glazed fanlight. Each return wall has one window with a plain stone surround.
